Abstract：Region is the key object of the geographic issues, and the geographic boundary of a region, therefore, is the foundation of a regions' objective reality.But, as the paper showed, we can see some theories of spatial research, and although some kinds of geographic theories don't touch the regions boundary even viewed the boundary of a region is not necessary condition.
In view of author, the province-regions with management and economic functions is the region of special fashion in China.The province-region with clear boundary is an essential thesis of economic geography study.And the development of these regions is the key part of China economy.Paper tried to provide the history and culture basis of province-region boundary in China, and the law of economy development of the regions limited inside the boundary is showed.The paper point out that with the inter-region market development of the enterprises and companies, the province boundary will be not so clear such as now, may be a economic region system with the behavior of enterprises as the core will be the leader fashion of the regions in future in china.
